Meet the Founder
Madeline Rooks
Executive Producer/Screenwriter/Talent Manager
Madeline, a Los Angeles-based screenwriter and producer, brings nearly a decade of industry experience. Her work has garnered significant recognition, with over 20 awards, including official selections, quarter-finalist, semi-finalist, and winning placements in esteemed screenplay competitions such as the Atlanta Film Festival, Scriptapalooza, Finish Line Script Competition, Final Draft, Beverly Film Festival, and the Los Angeles Film Awards, among others. In 2021 she was commissioned to write a script adaptation for the Austin Film Festival sponsors which premiered in the Festival. In 2023, she founded Rookie Productions with a focus on producing short films that feature unique voices and explore themes of mental health and social issues. Madeline remains dedicated to writing and investing in stories that challenge and engage her audience. She is a member of the International Screenwriter's Association and Women in Film.
