The Story
A group of slightly estranged friends gather for a birthday weekend when a global pandemic forces them on lockdown.
Now forced into an unexpected isolation, little by little the shaky foundation that the group was standing on breaks down as they’re forced to navigate the unknown danger outside and the uneasy relationship dynamics amongst them.
Chalet is a feature film that explores interpersonal relationships during the COVID-19 lockdown creating a fresh take on a tried & true dramatic format.
Tone: A drama that’s at once a pandemic thriller and an ensemble character showcase; reminiscent of the Breakfast Club, The Big Chill and Contagion.
